Woodland Lumber started as a family owned small lumber yard in November of 1987, by Floyd Fausak and Al Liknes, consisting of only 450 sq. ft. They began by purchasing only half lifts of lumber and making delivery themselves with an old farm truck.
Today at our new location directly on highway 16, we have almost 14,000 sq. ft. with a large lumber yard to accommodate all of our customer’s needs. The company is still family owned by Al and Fern Liknes. As from the beginning, Woodland has always been ready to help the community. Their sincere interest in the development and success of the community is shown by always willing to contribute toward many local club and community projects.
